We offer modeling related classes for our customers!! These are normally held on Sundays between 12pm - 3.30pm. All classes are held on-site. Check out our new class room, renovated to offer more room to our Modelers and staff!

BELOW ARE THE CLASSES WE OFFER: Watch for schedule dates and availability Basic Airbrushing Our most popular class! Our instructors guide you through the basics of airbrush operation, cleaning and thinning, and how to get a smooth finish. Simple masking techniques and free-hand operation are also explored.
Class starts @ 12 noon, cost $20.00 per person. Bring your airbrush if you have one, but not necessary. Advanced Airbrushing An in-depth continuation of our basic class. Covers multi-colored weathering and pre-shading, gloss applications and bare metal finishes. Fine line work and tight feathering techniques will also be explored
Class starts @ 12 noon, cost $20.00 per person. We recommend bringing your airbrush along, so that you can try out these techniques. Bring your airbrush if you have one, but not necessary. Modeling 101 Get back to the basics. It’s time to rediscover the fundamentals of modeling with Tom and Dave. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned modeler, their helpful tips and instructions will refresh and rejuvenate your skills. Hey, you might even learn a new trick or two! Simple modeling tools (Brushes, glue, knife, sandpaper) are suggested. We provide the kit.

We will show you advanced techniques and safe handling when using the unique properties of resins, metals, etched parts, and other aftermarket material. Careful instructions are examined as they apply the modeling basics of sanding, cutting, gluing, bending – you name it! Cost $20 per person, starts @ 12 noon. Automotive Finishes One of our favorite classes, highlighting techniques for: High gloss finishes, interior detailing, and bare metal foil application for realistic chrome.
Cost $20 per person, starts @ 12 noon. Figure Painting This class focuses on the specialized skill of using tube paints to detail figures. Customers are to bring in a selection of brushes, and will enjoy an afternoon of hands-on painting and instruction from master modelers. We supply the figure.

Our secrets to award-winning displays are revealed using synthetic and natural materials to give striking scale realism. Excellent source of information for detailing model railroad layouts, too!
Cost $20 per person, starts @ 12 noon. Groundwork (2) Painting and Detailing An excellent follow-up to our Groundwork (1) Diorama Workshop! All aspects of painting and weathering groundwork and vehicles are covered. Detail work within diorama building is covered...a must for armor builders!
